EXPERIENCE

Dr. LePosa’s journey in the field of optometry began with her undergraduate studies in biological sciences at the University of Maryland College Park. She then pursued her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Salus University Pennsylvania College of Optometry. During her time there, her commitment to excellence was recognized through the awards she earned for clinical excellence in both primary care and low vision.

Dr. LePosa then completed a certificate program in clinical medicine and then finished a rigorous residency in primary care at W.G. “Bill” Hefner VA Medical Center in Salisbury, North Carolina. Throughout her residency, she gained invaluable experience helping eye disease patients under the guidance of specialists in corneal, glaucoma, and retinal care. Dr. LePosa briefly worked here at Levin Eyecare after her residency before she joined the ophthalmology faculty at the Johns Hopkins University Wilmer Eye Institute. She is also on the medical staff at the Veteran’s Affairs Hospital in Baltimore and currently cares for Veterans at the outpatient clinic based in Glen Burnie. She has since returned to the Levin Eyecare family as a part time eye doctor.
