EXPERIENCE

Following in her father’s footsteps after graduating from Towson University, Dr. Norman pursued a Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, focusing on children’s vision, vision therapy, and contact lenses. Dr. Norman embarked on her career under the guidance of renowned figure Dr. Herman Goldberg at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, a precursor to the Krieger Eye Institute. She also collaborated in private practice alongside her mentor and father, Dr. Marvin Kasik, who dedicated over 45 years to Optometry in Westminster, Maryland.

Dr. Norman was integral in establishing eye clinics at Fort Howard, Perry Point, and the Loch Raven VA Medical Centers. This platform enabled her to accumulate extensive experience diagnosing and treating eye diseases, particularly in the geriatric demographic. Building on her proficiency, Dr. Norman extended her services to the doctor’s offices within LensCrafters at both Marley Station and Annapolis Malls.
