MEET OPHTHALMOLOGIST DR. JAMIE H. CHOI

Jamie H. Choi, M.D., is a fellowship-trained laser, cataract, and cornea surgeon at Levin Eyecare. She is dedicated to improving vision using advanced laser and lens technologies and specializes in comprehensive cornea care. Dr. Choi manages conditions such as dry eye disease, keratoconus, and Fuchs’ dystrophy, and performs corneal transplants, secondary lens implantations, and complex cataract surgeries.

EXPERIENCE

Dr. Choi earned her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center, where she served as academic chief. She then completed a cornea fellowship at the University of Maryland, focusing on corneal surgery and transplantation.

In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Choi has authored numerous scientific articles and book chapters and has presented her work nationally, contributing to advancements in ophthalmic care. She combines precision, evidence-based medicine, and compassionate, patient-centered care to ensure that every patient understands their options and receives the best possible outcomes.
